Job Description
Al Ahliya Sky is looking for a dedicated Account Assistant to support our finance team with daily accounting tasks. The ideal candidate should have basic accounting experience and be proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with maintaining financial records, ledgers, and journals.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Prepare and reconcile invoices and payments.
• Perform bank reconciliations and manage petty cash.
• Use Excel to maintain and analyze financial data.
• Assist in month-end closing and audit preparations.
• Communicate with vendors and clients regarding payments.
• Perform general clerical duties related to accounting.
Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year UAE experience in accounting or finance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, basic data analysis).
• Basic knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good command of English (written and verbal).
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Basic knowledge of UAE VAT and labor laws is a bonus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; accounting certification preferred
